Abstract:

We study a notion of indecomposability in differential algebraic groups. Then several examples are given and basic propositions are established. We comparing this notion to other notions of indecomposability from both model theory and differential algebra. We prove an indecomposability theorem for differential algebraic groups and use this theorem to prove definability results.
